Lawn Gnome on Steroids

Scenario: Let's say you happen to have in your possession an old school VW Beetle. Let's also assume that you're a lifelong Transformers fan who still has a special place in your heart for the original cartoons. Most importantly, your yard really needs some new lawn ornaments to set itself apart from the rest of the neighborhood. What do you do?

Tom Rhodes was faced with this very question and came up with the only logical answer: chop up the VW Beetle to build a replica of Bumblebee as he appeared in the original Transformers cartoon series and stand it in his yard. Yes, seriously.

Dude now has an 18-foot tall, 1200-lb. statue of the original Bumblebee standing in his yard. It took him over a year to build, but the end result is complete awesomeness.
